I've been on a sewing kick lately. I think it might be that everyone and their dog is pregnant (except me) and that makes me want to sew anything cute and baby or it might be that I finished watching the season finale of Project Runway.
I've always been amazed watching that show that people can just whip up something without a pattern bought from the store. I've always wanted to be able to do that and today I tried and succeeded.
Voila, here is my baby girl romper. I figure that if I make enough girl clothes Heavenly Father will give one to me.
What do y'all think?
Cute! I rarely sew without a pattern either. Although I do hybrids of patterns quite a bit. (a top of a dress from this one, the skirt of the dress from another pattern, my own sleeves, etc) Good job on it! And hopefully you get a girl, but I daresay you turn out an excellent/cute boy. And the world needs more of those too :)
ReplyDeleteNo, no girls for you. Keep making those clothes so my girls can wear them ;)So stinking cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Sarah! JK- I hope that you give birth to tons of cute girls. And I have a dress that I need to make- remember when I bought the fabric from BEFORE I was pregnant? LOL. Can you help me prettttty please? Because I really suck in the sewing department.
ReplyDeleteI have been on a sewing kick recently too! My only hurdle is those darn button holes. They scare me! :) Nice job Ms. Em.
